সংবিধান সংশোধনে প্রস্তাবনা তৈরি করতে সংসদে প্রতিনিধিত্বকারী সব রাজনৈতিক দলের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করবে সংবিধান সংশোধনে গঠিত বিশেষ কমিটি। তবে সংসদে জামায়াতের দুটি আসন থাকলেও যুদ্ধাপরাধের দায়ে অভিযুক্ত হওয়ায় এ দলটিকে আলোচনা প্রক্রিয়া থেকে বাদ দেওয়া হয়েছে। এর বাইরে সংবিধান বিশেষজ্ঞ এবং সাবেক প্রধান বিচারপতিদের সঙ্গেও বৈঠক করবে কমিটি। আজ মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে সংসদ ভবনে বিশেষ কমিটির বৈঠকে এসব সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। কমিটির সভাপতি ও সংসদ উপনেতা সৈয়দা সাজেদা চৌধুরী সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন।
